During a casual class discussion I found that my students did not know the meaning behind Veterans Day. As a result I devised a Veterans Day Project. Students had to work cooperatively in groups of 3 and research the following wars and conflicts that America  took part in throughout its history. Their projects also included a project board display, diorama or poster. Students researched the:
  • Revolutionary War
  • War of 1812
  • Civil War
  • Spanish American War
  • World War I
  • World War II
  • Korean Conflict
  • Vietnam
  • Persian Gulf War
