Overview:  In the Time and Space unit you will explore the geography of earth from ancient to present models and the eight parts of speech.

 

Objectives:  At the end of the Time and Space unit you will be able to (SS & ELA):

1.   use latitude and longitude to find locations on a map

2.   use scale to measure distance

3.   understand elevation tints, contour lines

4.   understand special purpose maps, legend, key

5.   use a timeline to answer historical questions

6.   understand Map Projection

7.   identify and match U.S.  states and capitals

8.   review and correctly use the eight parts of speech
