Overview:  In the Renaissance unit you will explore 

 

Objectives:  At the end of the Renaissance  unit you will be able to (SS & ELA):

1.   Identify important artists of the Renaissance period

2.   Identify the important inventions of the period.

3.   Conduct an online search locating pictures and information on this period and develop an ELA project

4.   Explain why the period of time following the Middle Ages was called the Renaissance

5.   Explain the significance of Johann Gutenberg's invention.

6.   Explain the concept of the Reformation.

7.   Identify ,define and use the chapter vocabulary words.

8.   Demonstrate your knowledge of the period by passing the chapter test.
