CHAPTER 2

With shreds of security uniforms falling from their mouths, the spider aliens chased me until I ran into the arcade where Anthony and Sabrina first fled.

I looked around and found both of them hiding crouched down behind several flashing arcade machines.

“You had better get up and prepare to fight!” I snapped at them as the spider aliens smashed through the front glass windows.

Standing to his feet, Anthony stumbled and crashed into a large robotic clown statue.

“Let’s have fun!” The statue laughed eerily.

Hissing with anger, the spider aliens ran towards us and smashed into a set of mirrors that decorated the wall behind us.

“Stupid arachnids!” Anthony gloated.

Groggily, the spider aliens turned around and spat a foamy liquid out of their mouths that missed us and hit the floor behind us.

Sabrina screamed as the spider aliens swiftly attacked us with their hairy legs resulting in a long gash that formed across my arm.

Steamed, I fired several laser blasts that forced the spider aliens to cower back against the back wall.

Suddenly, a blast of water burst from the floor andbegan to spray all around.

“That must have some sort of acid that made the pipes burst from the floor like that!” Sabrina said looking back at the spider aliens.

Slowly, the spider aliens began to advance towards us as the water sprayed all around us.

Thinking fast, Anthony pushed us out of the way, jumped back from the range of the water, and fired a shot from his laser gun that caused one of the arcade machines to explode into sparks.

Electric sparks began to dance over the huge puddle of water and started to streak visibly over the spider aliens bodies.

Writhing in agony, the spider aliens began to shriek in pain; and then collapsed into a smelly, steaming heap of death.
