This year my sixth grade students will read a variety of novels. In addition to the novels we read in class, they can read classic literature of their choice, as well as popular young adult fiction. Some of their favorite novels include the Caldecott or Newbery Medal winners. Their student writing samples include essays, reviews and PowerPoint Presentations of the books they've read. |
