At the end of the first week of school, we went to assembly. We met the principal, Mr. Jackson. He told us about the school rules and what we should do if there should be a fight. He stressed to us that this year they would be concentrating on respect. We also met Mr. Gonser who is the assistant principal of the school. He talked about respect also. He introduced a brigade of people to us. 

Mr. Austin is the dean of the school. He told what would happen at lunch and what would happen if we didn’t behave.

A guidance counselor is someone who can help you with problems you have in school. The guidance counselors for this school are Mr. Nelson and Mrs. Bernstein. They talked about problems that children have and how they can talk to them about it.

My counselor is Mr. Nelson. This year I will try to be respectful and caring. I will try to pass this on and make the world a better place.
