First Assembly

The purpose of today’s assembly is that they want us to wear a white top and a black or blue bottom. Some of the compliments that Mr. Jackson gave to the sixth grade is that he was happy to see some students wear white tops and black or blue bottoms and that we should respect others.

Mr. Jackson said our school wide theme for the year is respect. Our sixth grade class size this year is 280 students. He said that we should learn as hard as we can and try as hard as you can do. He said that we should respect all adults and others and we should make the right choices.

When you are late you have 1 hour after school detention.  When you are late and you hit someone and you don’t listen to the old adult you get detention too.

He said that he was happy to see some people wear white tops and a black or blue bottom and that on Fridays he will let the people that were wearing white tops and a black or blue bottom go on line first.

Mr. Gonser is the assistant principal. He said that he doesn’t want any ” he said, or she said.”  Then we will get in trouble.  This year I will not get in trouble. I will listen to what they say. It is important to have rules like this because we won’t get in trouble that much.
