On Monday we had an assembly. Our principal Mr. Jackson and our assistant principal Mr. Daraio, talked to us. He said the name of our school is Edmund W Miles Middle School. He said our school wide theme for the year is to be successful the whole school year.

Mr. Jackson also talked about behavior and it should be good. He also said to avoid getting in fights and tell if you see one. Mr. Jackson said you should have a classroom voice and don't be disrespectful to your teacher. He said you should not have to get a phone call home.

Mr. Jackson talked to us about lateness to school. He said if you're late, you have DETENTION. Mr. Jackson talked about girls showing there belly buttons. He said he did not want to see them . Mr. Jackson also talked about girls wearing tank tops. He said he didn't want to see them either.

Mr. Jackson also talked about disrespectful language. He said he didn't want to hear it. Mr. Jackson said no fighting or you will have In-School-Suspension. He talked about having weapons in school. He said if you do, you are suspended from school for 5 days.

Mr. Jackson said you should do your best on the Metropolitans Achievement Test. I am going to do my best to pass the 6th grade. That's my essay on the assembly.
