First Assembly

Today we had our first school wide assembly for sixth grade students. The principal that spoke at the assembly and the principal of the school is Mr. Jackson. The acting assistant principal of the school is Mr.Daraio.

The name of our school is  Edmund W. Miles Middle School. The school theme of the year is respect.

 Mr. Jackson talked about the rules and things he expects from us all. The things I remember Mr. Jackson talking was not to bring drugs, and not to fight. 

Mr. Jackson said he would call your parents if you broke the rules. Mr. Jackson said if you're late you would get detention. Mr. Jackson said that he did not want to see your belly button. He said that he did not what us to wear tank tops to school.

   He said he did not want us to use foul language in school. He said if you hit or fight you will get suspended for two or five days. He said if you bring weapons to school you will be either expelled or if it is real bad, the police will come.

He said that the M.A.T's were very important tests and he said he wants us to our best on them. I will not fight and I will do my best on my tests.
