September,2001 On Monday September 10, 2001 we had our first assembly. Mr. Jackson and Mr. Gonser talked to us about the word respect, and what to do and what not to do. He told us some issues that we need to know about the E.W. Miles Middle School. He
told us to not bring weapons to school because we will get in big
trouble and will get suspended, no if ands or buts, you will get
suspended. Mr. Jackson said we should join programs around the school.
The purpose of the assembly was to talk to us and tell us what to do and
not to do A compliment that Mr. Jackson gave us is he said he likes the way we walk in the hallway. Mr. Jackson said there are more than 283 kids in the sixth grade. Mr. Gonser is the assistant principal. Mr. Gonser said he does not like regrets and we should not have to have any regrets. In school it is good to have rules like this because people will obey them and listen to what you say and do and what you ask them to do. In school I am going to carry these rules around the school so I don’t get in trouble. I want to be a good student. |
