Amityville Beach Trip

September 2002

The purpose of our trip to Amityville Beach was to have fun, learn more about the water, and to work in school.  I have been to Amityville Beach before.

Mr. Pollock, a sixth grade teacher, is a lifeguard at Amityville Beach, that is why he had the keys to Amityville Beach.

I expected to see a lot of boats in the water and a lot of fish. The items I brought back were a crab and some fish.

The characteristics  of the blowfish is that the blowfish always gets fat when it wants to.  Another way of saying blowfish is balloon fish.

The fishnets were used for catching the fish in the net. The small metal cages were used for catching crabs. I learned that being outside learning the things you can do, is a better way to learn.
