As part of our English Language Arts Curriculum we wrote essays on the
our first school trip of the year. We took the entire sixth grade to
nearby Amityville Beach for a science lesson. The accompanying writing activity was done in the
last week
of September. The students and teachers learned a lot about marine life
and enjoyed the trip immensely.
